A Letter To You

This is Bean and hope you are well!
First of all I want to say thank you for supporting my small ceramic business.

Why “Dear Bean”? Bean is my nickname, my mom gave it to me. When I was little, I wrote a lot of letters to myself to comfort myself. The greeting was always start with “Dear Bean”. However as I grow up, I got busy on living a life, I haven’t say any greeting to myself for a long long time. Now I am talking to myself again with ceramics. So here “Dear Bean” is. 

I started self-taught making pottery about 2 years ago. Yes, that was during Covid-19, bad memories. I travelled a long way to get here. I was in a major depression, anxiety. I will say, making pottery save my life in some way. I put a lot of effort and time on making cups, plates, vases and more, fulfill myself, kept practicing, so that I forget to cry, and could get back to work. And making ceramics also became my part-time career!

Life can be hard, find something you love, and run for it! 

Then one day, lucky me, I met you all on Instagram. I received tons of kind comments, encouragements, and likes from you. I have never expected that people like my works, I am so grateful, for everything. 

As I said, my life is not colourful, but my works are. I wish you all live in an easy life, enjoy sunshine,to love and be loved, then of course, don’t forget to love yourself.
